I first developed ‘Can You Put It In Writing?’ in 2009 as a 1-day workshop for creative practitioners who dread writing about what they do. I am available to deliver this workshop and can adapt the content to focus on elements of writing relevant to the group.
Here’s the blurb:
Do you dread having to write about what you do? Do you know what you want to say but find it hard to translate your ideas into words? This fun and informal workshop will help you explore how you can tell the world about your creative practice or business in a way that captures the essence of your creativity. Working in a group you will use creative writing techniques to find your writing voice, pinpoint the essentials of your message and adapt your words to effectively promote you and your work to different audiences.
After feedback from the first workshop, I adapted the content into 2 half-day workshops with a week in between, so that participants would have more time to work on their piece of writing and get quality feedback and critique from the rest of the group.
